About Us:
Victoria Islamic School is a newly established academic institution set to open in the 2025-26 academic session under the BC Muslim Association (BCMA) umbrella. Initially, the school will offer a full-day kindergarten program based on an enriched BC curriculum blended with Islamic education. We aim to provide a high-quality Islamic and academic education, focusing on Islamic Studies, Quran recitation, and Arabic language. Our goal is to raise students who are well-rounded, confident, and capable of balancing Islamic values with modern education. Each subsequent year, the school will expand to offer additional classes.

Victoria Islamic School is seeking a Principal to lead our school’s instructional and administrative functions. The Principal will ensure the effective implementation of both BC and Islamic curricula, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire teachers, staff, and students to create a culture of academic excellence.
- Oversee the implementation of the BC curriculum while integrating Islamic values into daily teaching.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including registration, enrollment, and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, students, staff, and the broader community.
- Ensure the school operates within its budget while promoting academic and extracurricular growth.
- Organize school events and activities that align with both academic and Islamic education goals.
Requirements:
- Valid BC Teacher Certification or equivalent Canadian teaching qualification.
- Minimum three years of experience in educational leadership or administration.
- Strong commitment to integrating Islamic principles with modern education.
- Proficiency in technology and software like MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
